Good morning Honies and Homies, I see last night was a success

Some new family members (must have been the fondue) Sorry i didn't make it to play, but it would have been embarrassing dropping all that food in the fondue and then finding a willing participant to kiss

I was horizontal and out early last night. It sounded like everyone had a good time.

Ok, breakfast this morning will be omelets, sausages,crispy hash browns, home made bread,fruits, coffee,juice, Dr. Pepper for Scoote.

Freyja if you could handle the music for this morning that would be great.

One of my favorite things is someone bringing me a wonderful cup of coffee in bed, a back rub and breakfast. I had a lover once that did this for me every morning. Too bad the "other" things weren't quite as nice, however dont think I didn't let it drag on! lol

Mornings are my favorite time. I brought my fountain from the back deck to the front porch. I have a door w/screen from my bedroom to the front porch. I can now open the door and hear the water falling. It's a beautiful thing.

Scoote there are ice cream places everywhere in Florida. They are across the street from all the liquor stores. Have you two spent much time in Florida before deciding to live there? A good part of the year its awful hot. I'd love to have two places- one in Adirondacks and another maybe SC by the beaches.

My strawberries turned out fabulously, omg, and the first thing into my mouth this morning was one of those sweet babies. *smacks lips*

The sun rose today in full glory and right now, all is quiet in my world. Save for some chirping birds and the scream of a seagull.

Musicman - i bet you were pooped last night. i missed the festivities myself.
Being an early riser, it also comes with early departure from the awake world. i need a woman's dance that begins at 4 pm LOL (don't laugh, i'm soooooo serious!)

Will gladly help you out this morning for a music selection. If the peeps don't mind my selection of get up and dance tunes. i'm just that kinda gal.

I cleaned fall and winter from my fountain yesterday. Went to sleep lulled by the sounds, and dreaming of breakfasts in bed.

So, omelete, coffee, and all above sound great.

So nice to see all the smiling faces this morning....hugs to all...and more coffee of course

Belle, you're a sweetie for putting the first pot on.

Musicman...breakfast sounds wonderful. I made some fresh blueberry pancakes this morning with real maple syrup, so I'll add those to the spread for everyone as well.

The music is such a nice addition to the house

...I love to dance around barefoot in the kitchen

Course in my house that means you also have to work at not falling over a dog or a cat or both

All this talk of fountains Tommi and Sachita...you're reminding me that it's time to do the annual cleanout of the fish pond on the patio. It's an icky job, but the fish appreciate it! I do love the sound of a fountain. We've got a little turtle statue that spits water into the pond....and I find it very relaxing to sit on the swing and hear the sound of the water falling.

I hear you on the snowbird thing Sachita...to me that would be the best of both worlds. Maybe one day when we retire we'll be that lucky. In the meantime our "must have" list for a house includes central air and a swimming pool so we don't cook.

Hope everyone has a fun, relaxing weekend planned....

good morning everyone.. well freyja I havent actually kept up on my garden.. My tomato plants need to go in the ground but its been raining for a solid week pretty much and cant get out to work with the ground...

morningstar... my family lives in Tampa Fl!! You can say hi as you drive by... enjoy your layover for a day... you know maybe there's a reason why you are there a day early!

Tommi, I was born in Maine and moved when I was 12... It is VERY beautiful but winters are harsh or atleast they were when I lived there... 3 layers of winter clothing and a snowmobile suit was too much for me... North Carolina beach would be awesome for me as a second getaway spot!! Or even a place to live... I lived in High Point and worked in Greensboro NC and miss it!! I was 3 hours from the mountains and 3 hours from the beach.. awesome!!

My bio-family lives in Tampa toooooo.. and sherrie loves Maine, so,so I am flying in to Newark, and we are driving to Acadia Nat'l Park and other places along the coast of Maine, last week of June through July 4th holiday.

I grew up playing in the Allegheny mountain snowbanks. I thawed out here while in the Air Force. Tampa is not healthy frame of mind place for me, so this is my Sunshine state of Nirvana. We did spend a week in Winter Haven Fl. with sherrie's parents and I was treated like a king..so, that was a nice FL memory.

omg. i think im losing it.... thought today was the 16th , and pickingup the load , so i drove almost all the way to chattanoogies, TN and then found out tomorrow is the 16th.. DOH!!!!! ......... LOL ..
*sigh*.. ok ... guess ill hang out in chattanoogies and try this all over again tomorrow.. LOL i can be such a dork.45 minutes ago clear
anyways.... i should be landing in the Tampa Fla area..... sometime monday morning.
