Happy Mother's Day, and Happy Sunday everyone!

I will of course be calling my mom in a little while. We usually get together, just the two of us, for Mother's Day and my birthday, but it snuck up on me this year. (I have to be the one to actually organize the date.) It is very special to me, it's the only time of year when I get my mom all to myself.

I had leftover Chinese food for breakfast, and it was a little on the greasy side so now I feel a little blah, but it was delicious. I will probably skip lunch though.

It is supposed to get up to 86 today, which will be nice after a week of winter-like temps. (Highs in the 60s all week long - very weird. I even had to dig back in my wardrobe and find a couple of sweaters. Temps were in the 40s in the mornings when I headed out to work.)

I just got some lab test results online - I have a staph infection on my big toe.

Very, very unhappy about this. I've heard friends talk about how long it took them to get rid of it. So, hopefully when I check in with you folks next Sunday, I will still have 10 toes.
