Sunday Morning Overeasy!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

This is one of those rare times when I am actually awake during Sunday morning! I've already had breakfast, even.

It's going to get up to 91 today, which is hot, but not as hot as yesterday when it was around 100. My car almost overheated yesterday, and I had to drive around with the windows down and the a/c off - ugggghhhhhh.

Today I will do some cleaning, and then I am going to spend the rest of the day doing crafty stuff. Inside with the a/c! And I also have to decide what I'm going to wear tomorrow to have my picture made.

I've had a truly lazy morning and have been loving every minute of it.

French pressed coffee both in bed and on the balcony overlooking the beautiful river while I mosey through various websites filling my head with all that's good and bad in the world and much to ponder.

I also just had leftover Chinese for breakfast (I did heat it! I'm not an animal, yanno).

Now, I might head out to check out any bargains at a couple of stores.

I don't think that in the 15 years that I have been coming to the beach on the weekends that I don't feel a sense of peace every day that I am here. Well, maybe not always peace. But, definitely always grateful that I live close enough to a beach and have the ability to be here often during the spring/summer months. As soon as I drive into town, my anxieties float away. I don't even need to go to the actual beach the entire weekend I am down here to feel the peace and calm. I don't even need to leave my development. It is just being in this space, knowing the ocean and a town that is heavy with LGBT peeps, that feels so good. so today is another grateful overeasy Sunday morning in my little world.

Knocked out household stuff yesterday..whew..

It's a crafty hibernation day. It's 91 already.

I made french toast for breakfast, and as I was flipping toast, I was asked..."so your feeling Betty Crocker'ish?"

Huh? I'm making french today. Why?

"What dessert you making for tonight? "

Crack me up! Lol...the request for lemon bars was subtlety made.

Good morning! It will be 90°, and stormy off and on today here. Hopefully I can get some quick grocery shopping in before the storms hit. I accomplished a lot around the house yesterday, so today is going to be a lazy, movie watching, craft doing Sunday for me.
