What did you accomplish today?

I got up and did the usual let the dogs out and fed them. Came down stairs and checked my email etc..computer was fine.

I went out got a coffee then started weeding the walk ways, garden, etc.

I came in and grabbed my laptop and the screen was cracked. WTF it was fine when I closed it.

So, I took out the old screen to see what part number I would need to order. Grabbed my old laptop and took out the screen to see if it would work. It's to fat to fit but works when plugged in. So, for now I have it tapped up with electrical tap. That way I can use my computer and find the part I need.

I went to the mailbox...found a letter from the tax department..opened it...put it back in the envelop...stuck it at the bottom of a pile of stuff on my desk...the world's a mess and yet they still want me to pay taxes...wtf: let me see some results first.

Checked on the neighbors dog twice
Took a good nap
Went to produce stand love fresh produce
Cooked taters and made my supper
Made peach cobbler
Still gonna boil some eggs and make slaw before bedtime

Worked on 8 xmas trees...ruching and beading

That was the relaxing part! Oh, yeah, add watering my quaint cute garden!

Yesterday - came up with a new cake recipe. Had some super over ripe bananas. Hubby asked for banana bread but I decided to try making a cake instead. Used a recipe from my grandmother as a guide. Hubby loved it so I'll be making that for him again.
