Having coffee and preparing for my very first day of orientation at the new job. It's been 8 years since I started a new job and I'm feeling real nervous. Maybe because of my age? A lot of the cna's are so much younger. But I'm looking forward to working for a big, not for profit nursing home that really cares for the elderly residents. This place does a lot with the residents as well as in the community in general. I read up on them and asked a lot of questions in my interview! Wish me luck......

Shopping Amazon for a SpongeBob hat for my grandson. He's only 3 and he broke his leg yesterday on the trampoline. His sister fell on his leg, broke his tibia. He can't walk at all, has to be carried everywhere, at least until Monday when he sees an orthopedic specialist. He lost his favorite SpongeBob a few weeks ago and he told me today he wishes he had his SpongeBob hat.
So I did what any Maw Paw would do... I ordered him a hat! I adore this boy..... |
