Had a busy day trying to get things done so i can get on that ole airplane tues morn.
Made my dad hamburger gravy and biscuits took a big ole pan over. He,s 88 yo and cant keep any weight on him so he gets all of his favorite stuff. read my sunday paper and had a iced mocha Washed clothes started packing and now in my recliner as the seahawks are on. |

Good morning, everyone!
I just woke up and am not even out of bed yet. It's a chilly, windy, sunny day - I'll need a sweater to take Tiny Dog out, but I expect it will be beautiful and energizing. Breakfast will be bacon and eggs (which Tiny Dog will share a bit of) and Community Coffee with chickory, New Orleans-style. I have a day of chores planned, and I'm going to listen to NPR while I get those done. I'm looking forward to the short week at work (yay!). Thanksgiving will be spent with family. I don't have to do any cooking this year, but I might bake a pie. Then I'll spend the day after filling out my holiday cards to send out and watching _Auntie Mame_. No after-Thanksgiving shopping for me! If it's not bought by Wednesday, I'm ordering it online. Have a great Sunday and a wonderful week, everyone!

Good morning!
It's snowing/raining here and I'm settling into the day. It's the 5 year mark on when my Grandmother passed so I'll be spending some time with my mom. Outside of that, some cooking, some cleaning, some reading. Looking forward to the day... |

Good Morning, Everyone!
It is a cool 56° here with an expected high of 66° both today and tomorrow before the steady climb back into the high 70's. It remains very sunny, and I am enjoying the cooler temps. I have been in the garage off and on the last couple of days organizing & cleaning my tools and setting up a workshop of sorts, and will be back at it again today. At some point I am going out for a walk while it is cool enough to walk in the middle of the afternoon. I hope you all enjoy your Sunday, whatever it may entail.

It's a chilly morning here. Funny it was 80 just on Friday. Weather...a science of life events. Going to go shopping soon for Thanksgiving ingredients. Then I'm in for the day to finish up projects. Good morning everyone!
It is a brisk 48 here at the moment. I had to put Hope's sweater on her to go out! I am in a tank & shorts...lol. It will warm up to low 80's today...just a couple chilly nights then back to warmer temps at night. I love when it is brisk like this. Hope is so frisky, too. She is blind but she dances around my feet & tries to play. She follows sound...and does really well with it. I have to get packing today for my out of state trip Tuesday...I am so excited. I haven't been on a trip in a good while... Over a year in fact! I can't wait to get the coloring projects & see what everyone else has done.... .May you all have an awesome week ahead. It will be a short week for the worker bees. Safe travels for all who will travel....
