rainy day fun
Slept in late...for me that IS an accomplishment...
Made myself a nice breakfast...pumpkin pancakes.. Did dishes Cleaned counters, sink and stove Learned to make crochet flowers which included a new (to me) stitch Tried a new (Amish) bread recipe...and it came out AWESOME Painted my kitchen backsplash...have to do something with it until I decide what all else I'm gonna do with it... Deep cleaned as I went along the backsplash... Reorganized and decorated the kitchen a bit more Took down cobwebs and rehomed spiders so I could paint the hall ceiling...looks gooder already! Dried laundry on the rack inside since it rained all day.. Put laundry away and organized my bedroom a bit better

Accomplished
I drove four hours to attend a meeting and conduct a site visit by boat. I then drove four hours home, I ate a burger while driving 75 miles per hour down the highway. It was a 14 day.
I came home to winterize my house in the dark because it is going to freeze in my area this week. Is it Friday yet? |

So far I have accomplished maintaining my gratitude for my job even though I work with a couple of extremely inconsiderate, extremely entitled people who really have no business in a white-collar environment.
But I'm not bitter. :P

I woke up at 4 am full of energy this morning; it's now just after the noon hour and I am starting to slow down.
I got my Christmas cards addressed and mailed. Took all of the clothes out of my "I-might-wear-this-later closet", washed, dried, folded and packed them into boxes to be dropped off at the donation center. Cleaned the ceiling fans and light shades Dismantled my new table saw and the stand, and boxed it back up. I am going to exchange it at some point today or tomorrow. Marinated the chicken wings and have them baking in the oven with a couple of sweet potatoes. Swept all of the hard floors, but still need to vacuum carpet. Worked on a Christmas gift Washed up the few dishes that were in the sink. Seems there is always something that needs doing around here!

Loaded trash and took it off Went by Tractor Supply, Dollar Tree, Subway, the convenience store, and the post office. Fed critters Did a load of laundry Washed dishes Are lunch Watching football

I did not accomplish a lot but I did manage to get a donation pick-up scheduled with the disabled veterans for late next week.
I made it to the grocery store and the natural foods store both without buying junk that I don't need. I had not eaten yet and was starving, but I stuck to my guns. I cooked and got dinner dishes washed up. Oh yeah, I also took down my small tree and got it and the other decorations boxed up for next year.

Made my breakfast
washed a load of laundry washed dishes went to hardware store for straw and shavings cleaned old straw out of laying bins put new straw in the bins put shavings in the hen house put straw down in the bottom of the pen so I'm not slipping and sliding after our winter weather tonight and tomorrow fed chickens fed goats put straw in goat pen, shed and igloo fed Echo and put cedar shavings in her house fed cats fed inside dogs grocery store prepared food and fed the turtle fed the 2 little wild children in the corner Oh took bread to Mom, LOL (it's gonna snow, don't ya know) LOL think I did mention in another post I'm sick

Today, I did not indulge my inner slug. The house got cleaned. Trash and recyclables are in their respective dumpsters. Papers dropped at the doctors. The car was washed and the interior cleaned. Grocery shopping is done. Prescriptions have been picked up. Library order has been picked up. Voted in the special town election. Treated myself to a lobster roll. Now relaxing with a coffee coolata and deciding if I have the energy to wash the inner car windows and do the laundry.
