Once year a grocery store near where I live has a really great sale on meat, seafood and dairy. If you're able to buy in quantity the prices are very, very good. This year my oldest son and I went in together on chicken breasts, hamburger and pork loin roast. So I was working on portioning and packaging everything up until just a little bit ago. When all was said and done, there I was surrounded by all this food, with so many choices before me, and I couldn't eat a thing of it just because I was so exhausted from packaging it all up - I was too tired to cook. So now I'm sitting here having candy for dinner, a late Valentine's Day present from my somebody special. Mmm - so good.

Meat sauce leftover from last night, but instead of having it with zucchini noodles, I will saute some spinach and add that to the sauce. To change things up a bit, I am going to steam baste an egg or two and nest them on top of the meat sauce w/spinach.

Last night I went out to dinner and had a pork shank and bbq chicken pizza with a yummy margarita. It was delicious.

Now I am making beans, pork carnitas, and Spanish rice for dinner and lunches next week.

I bought some uncured beef hot dogs today, but couldn't decide if I wanted slaw dogs, or kraut dogs so I am having one of each along with some pork skins, (yay for 2 ingredients & zero carbs!) and orange and some blueberries for dessert later on.

I made creamy tomato and meat sauce over farfalle pasta, antipasto salad with pesto ranch dressing, and garlic bread. With a rum and diet coke to drink.
