☆☆☆☆☆ Canlis (Queen Anne neighborhood, Lake Union). ---- this restaurant serves the most exquisite foods. Very expensive, but so worth it. Very special occasion type venue. Must have reservations. Especially if you wish to dine there during any holiday season. It's almost too late to book an dinner date for Thanksgiving or Christmas. It's that awesome. ☆☆☆☆☆ Bainbridge Island: Multikeo Roasters. Great place to get breakfast, a cup of coffee or tea or hot chocolate. Relaxing atmosphere, very friendly staff. Portland ☆☆☆☆☆ Mississippi Studios and Goose Hollow Inn. --- No reservations needed. Food is exceptional at both places. Burgers at Miss.; Reuben sandwich at Goose Hollow. Moderately expensive. Settings are very relaxing. Both neighborhood's are simply beautiful. McCall, Idaho ☆☆☆☆☆ The Yacht Club. Mostly good pub fare, local talented bands, the best thing is the outdoor dining during summer. Payette lake, with sail boats and the Ponderosa pines surrounding the lake, is simply gorgeous. BONUS: There's a little roadside cafe on your way to Crater Lake, but closer to Diamond Lake. They serve the best pie in the world. They also serve breakfast; then I think they open up.again for dinner in the late afternoon and close around 9pm. The menu is usually like home style meal fare. Reasonably priced. But omg, the pies are insanely good. |

Sully's Bistro & Bar 7234 Ne Pkwy Suquamish, WA 98392 For some reason whenever I hear "Bistro" I automatically think french, snootie, and pricey! This place is none of those! Great home cooking, friendly waitstaff, and reasonably priced! |

It's located in the Hawthorne district, which makes it all the more enjoyable. Lots to see and do, especially if you are a people watcher kind of person. Service is top notch. Menu prices are reasonable. Bonus: lots of local people like dining at this sports bar and you're most likely to meet some very interesting people!   Jacknife Hotel Bar: http://www.jackknifepdx.com/ ☆☆☆☆☆ Located in downtown Portland. If you find yourself stranded by gridlock traffic conditions, this place is homey for an upscale type of venue. Reasonably priced menu. Service, for the most part, is okay. Live DJ Tues-Friday. Bonus: You can find editions of newspapers not readily available at other similar venue businesses. They also have card decks and TV and its location makes it easy to board an light rail train to the airport or to take the Union Pacific train to locations north or south of Portland.
