Good evening kitchen dwellers
 I've had a rough few days, so I asked my sweetie to bring home pizza and wings for us. I've got some ice cold sodas and beer  and I vote we all just put our feet up and relax. I'm even up for a scary movie  ...just as long as I can sit next to my sweetie and hide my eyes when I need to. Mrs. Strutt...shopping and swimming sounds good to me! I'm keeping your father in my thoughts. Hope he makes a quick recovery.   baby...where's that pizza???

evening honey and other kitcheneers.....i got ur pizza right here baby *handing u a paper plate (bc i aint doing no damn dishes tonight) with 2 slices of mushroom pizza*
i put on a fresh pot of coffee for anyone that wanders in...and left all the food on the counter *thinking we need to put a table with heat lamps in somewhere* think ill pass on the food and go str8 to  if i fall asleep just leave me here. ill wake up wheni have to pee

Good morning Honies and Homies, Geez I'm sorry i missed the scary movie
 Breakfast is on, going to go lite today as it is really hot and I think a lite breakfast might be in store. All kind of fruits, dips, cheeses,coffee, croissants,english muffins, crumpets, dr.  Hope everyone slept well and is feeling good today. It's supposed to be hot (for CNY) and sunny again today  Musicman, thank you for breakfast and I so agree on the lighter fare for a hot day. I'm thinking croissant, coffee and some strawberries...mmmmm. Freyja...lovely selection again today...I do LOVE Tina...always have, always will. And you're right about those little things people do. I'll tell you a secret...one of the sweetest things Scoote did for my first visit. She's not a coffee drinker, but she knows I am...so she went out and bought a cute little coffeemaker, perfect size for one person, and spent about half an hour baffled in the coffee aisle at the grocery store (and managed to pick my brand...without asking....how cool is that!?). She even gets up and starts the coffee for me, too...unless I beat her to it... Little things really do mean a lot.  I'm off to get started at work...had a less than productive day yesterday so want to make up for it today. Hugs to all the kitchen dwellers  and hope you have a wonderful day.And to my  sweetie....

Freyja, thanks for the Tina Turner video. Did you get a chance to watch the Dancing With The Stars finale lastnight? Nicole Scherzinger, from PCD, won the competition after doing the Jive to a Tina Turner song. She kicked arse and she can dance. I hope it turns out well for you. I know going back to college was one of the smartest things I ever did. It was a rough few years, but well worth it. Tommi....I picture you like this  today...on the hunt for ants. I use some great stuff called Terro...just a drop on a little piece of cardboard, tucked in a corner of the kitchen counter (near the window where they like to come in). They drink it up, go home, and poison their nest. It's mean, but hey...if they don't want to be dead they need to stay outside...that's my theory! I'm working hard on project documents this morning  so just bouncing in and out today.

 Ms. Jo - hope you feel more in fighting trim this morning. I am still tossing handfuls of positive energy out into the universe to get you down here ASAP cinderella - Mr. Strutt and I have just resumed remodeling on our house as well. We bought a fixer-upper in 2000 and had about 2/3 of it done before we had Katie, including new windows, but then took a hiatus for the past five years. Next project: install ceiling fans in the kitchen, living room and both bedrooms! I need to jump in the shower and get ready for work. I love my job, but today would be a good day to stay home and lounge in the pool. Think Mr. S has plans to  and maybe have a couple of friends over this weekend, though, so I will be a good girl and keep my nose to the grindstone.Have a great one!
