Getting emails from all my guys/firefighters who will be with me this week.... and knowing i will be with a few of them as i have dinner with the IAFF prez scaitberger and treasurer on tuesday. I dont talk about all my calls.... i work to improve lifes for all firefighters.
i will NEVER talk about my calls except the funny ones.... reserved for like folks |

My career has seen alot of risk and loss.... to which i see folks about. My fallen.....partner and on shift folks are my loss and not for others sympathy.
folks always ask about my job..... i never tell the hard stuff.. only the funny stuff it just doesnt seem right... as does those i know who saw stuff at war. silence tells alot .... i have seen more than i was prepared for and lost the same as i love my job.... i love it and dont want any sympathy for such as it is and has been a great career. |

Early this morning...
The quietness of my house and the simpleness of a couple of cups of cinnamon dulce coffee with a pecan caramel almond milk creamer. The creamer was a roll of the dice that paid off nicely.

Offering to brew coffee for his first 6 a.m. shift working from home and his enthusiastic reply of "That would be FANTASTIC!" Then made the choice to not ride back for a seat on the train so I could stay home an extra hour and make him breakfast and enjoy some time in the morning instead ♡♡♡

Spending time with my nephew Jefferson today. He didn't sleep last night so my sister asked if I could watch him. His older brother is at their dad's so it's much more relaxing with just him. He is trying to explain to me the Netflix series Slugterra. I don't really understand it but it's cute that he's trying.

I had hell getting a delivery date when I bought it but, my new mattress and bedroom furniture has finally been delivered. After I organize my dresser, I think a nap may be in order.

Lol...the gardeners left, finally. You see, I bought this swim suit top on sale. It's rather too big in the cup size, I suppose I was wishing, but actually glad I'm not this size. But it makes for fun conversation and double takes!
