a quiet house with some quiet alone time being somewhat domesticated to know I can do things on my own being given a second chance at a few things in life my freedom whoever invented sweet tea lol family friends who turned into family and sweet tarts soft and chew rope candy

I'm so thankful that even though my butch is chronically ill and she gets a little forgetful at times, she still has her right mind. We just found out that a friend we lost touch with over the years has dementia and is in a nursing home. That was very upsetting to both of us. Years ago we used to go out drinking and dancing with this man and his then partner, and were pretty close.
I'm very grateful that my butch is still pretty sharp mentally and she knows who I am. It would be devastating if she got to the point that she did not recognize me.
