The bottle's back!  *wipes it dry, uncorks it as I run back to shelter* *unrolls new note gleefully* "too hot to cook, I already tried and now my dear, I'm utterly fried; for cooler climes I'm on the lam so ask someone else for biscuits and jam" Well!  It's too hot to cook here, too *sigh* out it goes again. *re-rolls original message, pops it into bottle, corks it* *runs down to beach, tosses it into the waves, runs back to shelter* *settles back to wait*

*walks down to beach, pulls bottle out of water, dries it off* *takes it back, settles in, uncorks it, pulls out two new notes* Two? "I have neither butter, nor biscuits and jam; I'm in kind of a jam myself. I ate them all with much elan, didn't leave a crumb on the shelf." *unrolls second note* "she's grounded till she's 83 unless she makes more for me! signed, the grandkid"  LOL! oops. Wellll, no help there! *recorks bottle with original message in it* *takes it back, tosses it in, wanders home to wait*
