I'm 48 and though arthritis and other little things are slowing me up a bit, I still feel pretty lively most days.
 A good thing too since my spouse is 26 years older than me and I'm her fulltime caregiver. We always joke that somebody upstairs must have known what they were doing when they put us together!!

59 here, according to the calendar, more like 19 socially - only just starting to live after an awful lot of stress and being way more reserved than was good for me.

I am 57 also and my joints remind me every day. I'm just thankful that my job allows me the opportunity to sit/stand/walk in fairly equal amounts on a daily basis. My 8 grand babies help keep me young!!

I'm 55 and definitely not dead yet. My knees, however, are far older than the rest of me. That won't stop me from dragging them around the racetrack on my motorcycle on Monday, but you can bet I'll be taking a huge dose of anti-inflammatories first!

I will be 57 this winter.
I feel great! I am pretty healthy according to my doctor. I see that there are a lot of knee complaints here. I got a knee replacement in 2014 and it works great. I am happy and I look forward to everything that the future has to offer.

Always loved hanging out with the older crowd.Now that 50 is around the corner I'm wondering if a more older or younger crowd will work for me.I'm told I look in my 30's but my body feels every bit the 49 year's I've been on this planet.Physically I'm mature but all beat up, mentally my mind thinks young and I still want to grow and learn about new ideas before my time is up.
 I have seen changes in this country,good and bad,lately though I feel like packing my bags and moving out. I should really be thankful that I'm still breathing at all..getting old is not going to be fun for me, but I'm still here,that should count for something. I'm hoping I make it to my 80s...don't see any shame in being old..nope. |
