A co-worker brought me some Amy's vegetable lentil soup to try. I wasn't sure about it just by reading the label but it was really tasty!
He said his wife bought it at Costco. I'm not a Costco member but if people are willing to buy it in bulk I guess that's usually a good sign it's pretty popular so maybe I should have had more faith in it.

It's clearly a very Fall like day, here at home, so I've put together a homemade cornbread dressing (minced apples, sweet onion and crushed smoked Almonds, dressed with seasoning and whipped egg yolks), and dressed and seasoned Chicken breasts. I've also made sugar cookies from scratch to bake, after the chicken and cornbread are finished roasting in the oven.

Homemade chili. Well actually I used canned beans so pretty homemade anyway. Milk to drink - need something to put the fire out. Later watermelon for dessert if the supermarket still has any left. My son's been on the look out but no luck, so I'm not getting my hopes up. If one can't be found I'm gonna to cheat on my diet real bad and make/have peanut butter cookies. I'm only burning about every other batch now so things are improving. I can still hear my mother's voice - You don't cheat on a diet, when you overeat you're only cheating yourself. Way to be supportive mom! I mean when she said it I was like 5'4" and 107 lbs. Sheesh I sure wish I had that "problem" now.
