A walk at quabbin and then headed to the house to get some work done. We're getting a dumpster today and I can not wait to fill it with the smelly carpet we took up...amongst other odds and ends that just need to be gone.

I have company coming for dinner and a game night tonight and it's perfect finally fall weather for housekeeping. I got up early to roast a turkey and have been polishing the wood floors and tidying up. One friend coming over tonight is having some surgery on Monday so part of why I cooked the turkey was so I could make her a good bone stock to drink when she's recovering. I finished cooking it by 9am and now I have a big pot of stock simmering for her. My house smells soooo good!

Finished early morning chores and now waiting on my daughter to finish her audition for All State orchestra.

Doing my own mani while I wait for her as no time for salon today. Bummer.

Hitting the farmer's market this afternoon for fresh veggies.

Dropping off my kid for a sleepover. (Yay!)

Plan to have company over for low country boil while watching the SEC games tonight. Roll Tide.
