The north east Florida eagles laid their first egg of the season yesterday. It's the first time I ever saw a Dad waiting with a Mom in the nest bowl for the new arrival to make its appearance. Was very sweet. Dad is usually nearby and comes flying in after the birth to say hello and bring a celebratory fish.
