Do you know, whilst I;ve always liked hats, I bought that one mainly because I'd decided to grow my fringe out, but then the long hair at teh front was being a nuisance in some ways. So a hat would keep it nicely to either side of my face.

Then I bought the moustachied cat with goggles badge at a Steampunk do, wondered where to wear it, and decided to use it as a hat ornament. Some while later, I venture into the local lesbian bar for the first time.. and only then realised the conversational potential of wearing a hat with a cat on it... - I'm sure you can imagine some of the comments yourself! 8-}
