Y'all got me feeling sad with this thread! I try to be really independent when it comes to relationship stuff, but I guess there's no denying there are some things I miss.

I miss intellectually stimulating conversations, I miss cooking for someone and seeing their face light up when they eat my food, and I miss little gestures like when your partner casually rests their hand on your thigh at a restaurant or guides you in a crowded room with their hand on the small of your back.

it's been awhile, when going for a walk with a femme, she takes my arm without a word being said, and suddenly feeling 10 feet tall, and very protective
