I like the word smitten..... here's my take on that word, without looking it up: I'd say it's when an person is terribly attracted to another, when you're stricken by them and all that they do.

Yes, very well put Miss Katz and I think it's such a cute and non-threatening word to use when telling someone your feelings without making the other person uncomfortable......

In Communication Studies, there's an interesting theory about Expectation Violations, which I think works perfectly for the word ....Stupify: which, in most cases, typically means that certain expectations held about any X, Y or Z type of situation, violates said held expectations, which leaves a person feeling stupified.
