painting some plywood panels ... if it was not going to rain tomorrow, I might push it over until then ... Hmmm, I could always do it sometime else in the future.

Not much motivation in me today. Rather lollygag with the pups and another bucket of ice cream.

Today is my grandmothers birthday. She would have been 108 years old. She was the most important person in my life.

Every year, on her birthday, to honor her memory, I go out for her favorite meal. Put a plate of shrimp chow mein in front of her, and she lit up like a child at Xmas.

So today is chinese food and sifting thru memories day.

So... after getting some naughty gardening done yesterday I came inside and discovered my water heater was leaking... into the house and the garage.

Responded quickly... moved buncha stuff outta harms way... flipped breaker to turn off water heater... attached garden hose to drain tank... turned input (righty tighty) valve to cut off water source to tank... ran around S. DFW looking to purchase new tank, on the first beautiful Sat of Spring, which means everybody and their mom was out, only to come home empty handed ... to find the tank still leaking. Ahh.... shut off valve is busted, turn off water to the entire house and spend Sunday reveling in the joys of home ownership.
