An old Southern expression meaning, in essence, that you don't care about the outcome of a situation. Not to have a stake in the outcome.

Sidebar: "I Don't Have A Horse In This Race" is very similar however I'm not sure if it's a south expression as well or not!

Giving The Cold Shoulder...

To Ignore someone. To intentionally appear disinterested toward one; to snub. If someone gives you the cold shoulder, they deliberately stop being friendly to you and ignore you.

Sidebar: This phrase usually refers to the act of ignoring someone. It originated with the 19th-century practice of serving of a cold shoulder of meat to tiresome guests.
