About $2.15 per gallon in central Texas.

2.89 to 2.99 a gallon for diesel.

I have heard that diesel is priced the same throughout the country, while regular gasoline is priced according to what refinery or part of the country that produces it.

Does anyone have similar diesel prices in their state?

In Arizona for Diesel:

2.63 a gallon

After 4/1 in California:

3.50 a gallon (probably more)

We will be traveling up through Nevada when we head to Idaho, instead of California to WA.

I hope it’s the last we will ever see of California

Last night we were in the city bringing my honey's mother home and saw gas for 2.49. Around our neck of the woods it's about 2.64

$3.14 for Diesel, MUCH lower than 3.89 in California.

They still get their taxes here in Idaho....in Idaho there is tax on food from grocery stores, where in California there is not.

That's an better price for diesel than it was last week in Idaho. Last week, when my BFF and I traveled to Idaho to go see our mom's (an short two day turn around trip), diesel was $3.35/gal, regular was $3.15/gal.

Gasoline prices fluctuate a bit in our metro area in Oregon. Today, Regular is $3.13/gal. Last week, on our way back home from Idaho, gasoline at an Loving's Truck stop out in the gorge, near The Dalles, had regular gas @ $3.03/gal.
