Hey Chained Daisy...it is indeed discounted food prices...and usually some portions are smaller....like instead of a stack of pancakes, you will get one...or sometimes, two. You can get one egg, one bacon or sausage, or turkey bacon...

It IS a great deal....

Agree with Chaqueso, the 55+ menus rock! Most times, anyway!

I can order off kids' menu since I had my bariatric surgery done, and is plenty for me to eat! We get a wallet card stating such...

Far better than playing for a huge plate of food that you are going to leave half of eh !

We sometimes have `light bites` on menus, smaller portions/healthier dishes, trouble is when I go for these I get tempted to top it up with a couple of sides which defeats the object !

There are all sorts of other discounts too, but most of the times I forget to ask for them!

Show me a place that offers half-price seniors' discounts on a busy Friday or Saturday night and I'll show you a place that truly honours "seniors". I'm tired of being grateful for "leftovers" at a seniors' discount on Mondays from 4 pm to 5 pm.
