For me
I took the day off from life. Stayed in and watched funny "B" horror movies like Lake Placid. I also made sweet and sour sauce from scatch. Funny that I had all the ingredients on hand.

I gave myself a treat today. I ate a yummy bowl of ice cream this afternoon. A perk of working from home.

I got a haircut and let me tell you I feel so much better. I tried something different for a year but went back to my old faithful and I am glad I did.

I found a way to donate some foods I can't have anymore and gave it to an neighbor who is in tight circumstances right now. I also gave myself an pedicure today, and treated myself to an nap this afternoon.

I slept in late today.....then I lugged the vacuum around the house (thank heavens it is ultra light in weight)…. then I gave myself a much needed manicure and pedicure treatment. No nail polish involved because I'm giving my natural nails a break from that stuff. I concentrated on applying healthy oils to my feet and hands and applied some ointment to a sore cuticle on a couple of fingers on my left hand.
Oh, and I also gave my hair a special conditioning treatment, after I applied some clear gloss to my almost color-free locks. I plan to never color treat my hair again and just leave my hair in it's natural state (mostly salty silver, not much pepper left).

I've been taking the train to work, due to relentless gridlock traffic, but today I drove in to work. This evening, I took all the back roads home and drove as slowly as possible, just savoring all the new things I've not really seen while driving. Basically, I'm changing up my daily routines so it's not so routine.
Hoorah for simple changes in daily life. It's been a life saver, lately.
