I just went to the grocery store. Now I am heading to teach group work at the college. After that I will visit my uncle and his silky and we will either go boating or hiking. Then home to clean and do laundry.

I was mowing the lawn. It was taking forever because I skipped doing it last weekend. Today the grass was thick, hard to push. Anyway, I was about 3/4ths finished when these huge raindrops started falling. I rushed the mower under the shelter so it is fine. I will finish the lawn later or tomorrow. Almost time for a nap anyway.

Finishing my deck and steps that I'm hand building myself. I'm very happy and proud with how this morning's work turned out. I got the Lion's Share completed before the sun started roasting me.

My agenda will likely be helping my housemate get settled back in here when she comes home from the hospital today- she had knee surgery a couple of days ago. Although her Mom is here visiting so between that and her husband I likely will not have to do much. However, it feels good to help.
Another hatchling was born overnight, so I will likely be tending to them as well. I have now claimed this going on as my "thing" or project. I am pretty excited about it, as you can probably tell by my writings. Other than that I will probably do some weeding in the garden and anything else they need me to do. Farmhand 101. |

Rain changed plans. I was going to pull some of the big tree limbs from the front woods to near the road with tow straps and truck. Cut them up and haul away later after my back issue is well. This little light duty would not harm my back.
P.T. is getting somewhat painful but happy to say I believe it is very slowly working. That man tied me up Friday, then tied himself to me ... leaned all over me which tightened my straps in certain places. I asked him if he enjoyed inflicting pain on others. LOL! I really like this guy. He knows his stuff plus, like me, he knows Led Zepplin is the best rock group ever.  Right now I am comforting the pooches. The thunder will not stop and it frightens them. |

Tending to the little chicks. The last one has hatched, so we ended up with a total of 8. By the end of this we should have some baby turkeys hatching.
Weeding/mulching the garden until it got way too hot. Replanting 4 plants into hanging planters for the front deck. I fed the little baby sheep (her name is Isabella) by bottle. Watered the newly planted flowers out between the large trees in front of the deck. |
