I had a toasted light multigrain English muffin with a scrambled egg patty and a healthy schmear of hot pepper bacon jam (OMG, so good!), fresh blueberries and a glass of an oj/pom cocktail.

A strawberry, blueberry, blackberry and banana smoothie blended with a bit of lemon tea, and a little bit of local raw unpasteurized honey.

Homemade chocolate brownies.

One the best bakers in the company just brought me some brownies as a small act of kindness. She's famous for her brownies and usually only bakes them in the fall for our Crafts & Art fair and in the winter during the holidays.

I'll get her a nice thank you card.

Lucky me to be recipient of her kindness.

This again and it was great! I got all my fruits in for the day already, including the banana I had before my workout.

I also had a sweet too. I had a raspberry kolacky pastry.

Last weekend I baked some whole wheat bread so this morning I had a hearty slice of that and two eggs. Pretty yummy!

Eggs from my OWN CHICKENS!!! Topped with a slice of smoked Gouda. As an after thought I did a brief sauté of some nice orange pepper that I had. Topped all of that with some sea salt mixed with herbs and my ever present 21 season salute from Trader Joe’s.

Ps: my barred rock, Dolly, laid a double yoker! Tomorrow I will find out if this is the norm or an anamoly.

This morning I was ravenous AND I missed my local restaurant peeps so i walked down for some grub.

I got 2 eggs, scrambled with spinach, mushrooms and provolone. Cinnamon raisin toast on the side. Black coffee and ice water to drink. I also got a gingerbread muffin to take home. (Half of it was lunch)

The company was just what I needed to amend my mood. And I got to try their chai. The owner had made herself one and shared it with me. Yes, we’re that kind of cozy lol
