I saw the end of a Thursday where I wasn’t stressed out to tears.

My coworker happened to get herself lunch today from a place that my grandmother used to take me all the time as a kid. I miss her very much. But she was amazing and I am so grateful to have had her as my grandmother.

I was just thinking about this today. How grateful I am for my family, in particular my sons. Even though my youngest could stand to be a little more considerate, less self absorbed still I can't complain. It would be better if he were around more but we do spend time talking and texting and we do get together in person now and then. When we do we always make each other laugh. My oldest has consistently, without fail, treated me better than anyone I have ever known, his whole entire life. I'm very fortunate to have his love, care, concern and support. I've always said and I do really mean it, even if tomorrow things took a dramatic turn for the worse, my sons suddenly started hating on me, still I'd have to consider myself fortunate what for how good I've had it all along up to this point. There are a lot of mothers out there, much better moms than me, who have it nowhere near as good as this. I'm grateful I have the children I do.

The last couple weeks my oldest kiddo has been tagging me in posts on FB about how wonderful her mother is, how her mom is her best friend, and even one that acknowledges that even when I struggle she still thinks I'm the best mom.

I am so grateful for my both my kiddos, but this last week I am extra grateful to have my best friend as my daughter.

I am grateful for who I am. For my strengths, and vulnerabilities...for my failures, and successes.
For those who were before me, and in many ways opened the paths throught which I continue my journey today...
For those who are companion during the journey through this temporary life: family, friends, and those erroneously called strangers.
For those who have stayed for a minute, for those who have never leave...
For those to whom, with their false premise of love, I allowed them to hurt me, and for those whom with their love still helping me to heal and grow...
For this emptiness, for this fullness...
For the simple things, many times taken for granted...
For what it was, and for what it will be: Gracias!

And, for the music...thanks...
