the folks in the room next to me in the hotel decided to stay up and cut up until all hours. They were in their room, and in the hall. Grown adults! I was wide awake so I didn’t really care but when I finally felt sleepy they kept waking me.

I called the front desk at 2:30 am to complain, It was handled promptly.

Are people that oblivious to the fact there there are other people trying to sleep? Do they realize it and just not care?

A grown man at breakfast ..... barefoot. He is all dressed, pretty decently, and yet he has on no shoes. Gross.

After working hospitality for years, I can say with absolute certainty that they didn't give a flying sh*t about anyone else. They were consumed with their activities and whatnot and the rest of the world doesn't exist. These types of guests were some of my least favorite.

Hotel carpets and bedspreads, even the higher end ones, are notorious for a high ick factor. It's gross that he wasn't wearing shoes but he'll go home with lots of microscopic new friends so maybe it's a win for him?
