Procrastinating. It's tax time and I'm facing down piles of paperwork. The extra special discouragement sauce is that the orange buffoon's tax hike is likely costing me just under $2,000. All I can keep thinking is that he's spending my money stealing children from their families at the border.

I watched a documentary on Janis Joplin. I forgot that I had it taped. It was good but also sad. Janis was a Texan.

Having some herb tea, enjoying some no sugar added canned pear slices. Watching some detective/cop show I don't know the name of that's actually pretty good. Pausing every now and then to give Monte little reassuring love pats. He's still sort of unsettled, not yet quite adjusted to the move.
