Anyone besides me boycotting BP?

There's alot to be said about this subject. Perhaps if boycotting BP isn't a viable solution then perhaps we send letters to our government officials demanding that they make regulatory changes concerning these huge corporations.

It's interesting to me that when automobiles were first being massed produced they averaged about 10 mpg. Hmmmm. In 100 years we have been smart enough to go to the moon and back, create an atomic and hydrogen bomb and many other super inventions but we can't design an engine to get more than 50 or 60 mpg (at best). It seems like the automakers are partners with the oil companies to attempt to keep us oil dependant.

I might have missed it but did anyone get a list of stations that sell BP? Dont they sell to other named companies? In case I miss it can someone msg me?

I'm all for buying less gas and finding ways to cut down on your gas/oil consumption. It contributes to so many problems. I live in the country, must have a truck for my work and that extra unexpected trip to town kills me. I try to plan and longer trips talk my sister into going who has a small honda. Luckily I work at home but that 250 engine can really suck it up.

Mix republicans who support big business and hate the environment and democrats in auto manufacturing state who fear losing jobs to the mix and you've got a lot of the picture.
