What's Happening in Austin

Random, there's a great little glass place in NoAustin called Helios and they have classes. It's not blowing glass, but designs which are kilned.

When I was in ATL, I started to do a lot of glass work ~ then I moved here and located this place, but have not yet taken any classes there.

"Frying" glass is a blast!

Ohhhh.. That sounds hella fun Ms. Diva... That and throwing pottery.. We both wanna do that as well..

I also want to learn to do lampwork beads... I've seen it done and it just looks so cool...

Well as artsy as Austin is, I'm sure it won't be a problem to find those things! I have always wanted to learn to throw a pot, so I'm game!

I took a handbuilding pottery class HERE several years ago. I loved it. They also have wheel classes.

I liked the "studio time" they give you outside of class. You can go in and just work on your project. I took it in Nov. and made some holiday gifts.
