Nothing but blazing sunshine today, although it's very very cold here.

Supposedly, we will get up to a foot of snow and we're under a winter storm warning watch. We most likely will stay home, if the snow forecast comes true.

High today: 40 degrees.

Low tonight: Low 30s.

Colder, eventually.

Yesterday it was nearly seventy degrees. Today we didn't reach forty and for the next week'ish, we won't get above freezing. Snow please.

Right now it's 33 degrees with 8 miles per winds.

I guess it's suppose to snow here at some point, the weather people seem to be hedging their bets as to just when however!

It could be later today or this evening, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday from what I gather from their ramblings!

Snow showers tonight and at around midnight it's down to 19 degrees. Forecast is for highs in the 20's all weekend long. Driving winds are making it feel like it's only 8 degrees out.

We have half a foot of snow and ice and snow is still coming down, at this hour. The Columbia Gorge is closed due to white out/blizzard conditions. Highways in the metro area are snow covered, and iced down since last night.

High today: 29-32 degrees.

Low tonight: less than 20 degrees.

We most likely won't be able to travel safely until after the federal holiday on Monday (President's Day).

It snowed in Texas. We lost power and water. We got power back but it will be days without water. Snow = water.

Snow has given up for a while. We have about 5 or 6''. Not much wind so little blowing snow. Parking lot is clear as our guy plows then drops salt. Salt on the sidewalks after shoveling make it smooth walking. Very cold indeed suppose to get colder.

I just happened to be out driving at 6 a.m. this morning, and we had a teeny tiny bit of snow. It was really just a dusting. None of it stuck to the road but I had a bit on my mailbox. Temps around 29*F all day.

Rico and I were homebound without power for over 5 days. We got a fuck ton of ice and snow. We even got time off from work, with pay, hazardous weather pay.

I returned to work today. Roads are somewhat safe, but many are still without power. We have read about serious tragedies everywhere here at home and nation wide.

We are safe. Finally.

High today: 46.
Low tonight: 44.

Next weather flash concerns rapid melt and flooding.

It's been a little crazy in Funkytown. Right now it's 26 with a feels like of 12 but it's a little windy this morning. That though, is as warm as it's been since last week and this nightmare is finally moving out. We just aren't prepared for anything like this Winter storm, down here. Our homes, roads, etc aren't built to take that kind of hit. Clearly. Our entire infrastructure is on the brink of collapse ffs. Not gonna lie, it's been brutal but Texans are tough and we'll get through this. Somehow, I've kept electricity during it all but there is no water and the water we did have, was contaminated. Small inconvenience for me compared to what others are suffering.

Anyhow.... we're supposed to be flirting with 70s next week so there is that! Just have to get all of this ice and snow out of here. It's been beautiful to look at but it came at a very high price.

There is a park, close by, and I took a walk this afternoon. It was about 82°. The walk way followed the edge of a water inlet. And to my surprise, a dolphin was in the inlet, putting on a show!
