What are you doing right now?

Sipping ice tea, loving that feeling of something cool after a dental appointment. J forgot to cancel at the college and I didn't want the student left hanging. A cleaning there is inexpensive and why not make life a little easier when I go in for my appointment with the hygienist at my dentist's latter this month. It didn't happen often to me in clinical but when it did grrr. I didn't do dental but I imagine it's the same for anyone needing to get their check offs - supremely inconvenient!

I was fortunate. The students were a week from graduation. Mine had been an assistant for over 20 years before deciding, after her sons were on their own, it's my turn now. So she was flawless, enough so that J and I did lunch immediately after. Anyhow skying down from that, getting ready to do some online shopping and working on some sugar free Jello J made me, 2 kinds and some sort of don't know what it is whip cream filling but it tastes good to use on both. So working on typing this in between bites of that.

I was listening to the biggest loudest thunder. It poured super hard, but now its passed. It's the little things that you wished would last longer.

It's a lovely reminder as I hear the rumbles drifting away.

Right now I am looking out the window of My home office - and wondering when the storm is actually going to start. The super dark clouds have arrived and I think Mother Nature is out there trying to make her mind up on when to start and how long should it last.

I love how it feels right before a storm.

I'm enjoying my day off.
So far..the dental appt was a mix up..whew
I'm in my sewing room, alternating clothes to fit better. I'm not ready to give up my fav tops/pants just yet. Elastic in waist bands, shorter hems, new buttons. Taking most of this stuff in. I'm not ready to look frumpy. In due time! Lol lol

Also having a P!nk, All I Know So Far, concert!

Cooling down (it's hot outside) and waiting for an appointment to begin. I'm thinking about how lucky I am to have the life I have.
