This strand of thought by Salman Rushdie has always prompted me to be brave enough to leave group-think types of processing in what we see and read and hear about in life. I’ve found that it is true, to do as Rushdie suggests we do when we need to consider the whole entire unseeable picture. Step out of the “frame” and before too long, you will see what the real story and consequences are to consider.

Love this quote. Whether the road is to a romantic relationship, a better job, a new lifestyle, a larger bank account, whatever it is, it’s not always easy getting from point A to B. There may be detours, lanes closed, back-to-back traffic, may be stray animals in the road you have to dodge, Mr. Mayhem could be tryna distract you. You may get tired of waiting and take a quicker path (good luck with that). You never know what you’ll come across on the road to success. Being patient, careful and keeping your eyes on the road (and not the rear-view mirror) will help get you where you want to go.
