Summer Veggie Garden Time!

No garden yet expect one more frost here in the Carolinas. Planting will be tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, squash and zucchini and who knows what else

It will be an interesting year with moving in the spring. I'm planning a trellis with mini cucumbers I grew last year that were amazing, and some sugar snaps and green beans. Fresh herbs for sure. And probably some container gardening from there. Lettuce and cherry tomatoes. Next year will be bigger and better.

It's getting ready!!

The box is made. Landscaping cloth is on the bottom. A layer of mulch was first. Eight bags of really good veggie garden soil, mixed with some peat moss.(Best Butch did all that) I've started a compost.

Now it's up to me to start these seeds and keep the squirrels away.

The joke is...we better have some good groceries growing!!!
