Over the top, in an arch above the image, is the scripted text that says, "Not all who wander are lost" (my favorite Tolkein text). The meaning of the whole thing is that we are each on our life's voyage. We each chart our own individual course through life and are responsible for our own choices in life. We all, after all, live by our own choices.

** My next piece is going to be the realistic image (profile) of a beautiful siren, her lips formed in a seductive kiss, blowing a the wind into the sails of the ship.

Sounds Fantastic!...and i didn't know you loved Tolkien!! May i ask your favorite character?? Mine, Glorfindel(in the book, but not the movies)(i don't think?) it's been a while since i watched the movies and i haven't read the books in a long while...i love the series but my favorite book of his is the Silmarillion

Nope, not one, but am thinking of getting an Adinkra symbol in black. I like the Sankofa symbol that stands for “the wisdom of looking back."

I’m almost certain this is symbol I’ll get. Now I just have decide where to place it.
