Got snow last night but gone by the afternoon. Grocery shopping as Tues. is pretty quiet. I hope our winter stays this nice. Up north lots of snow and down east is buried in my home town. Saw the Dr. and he gave me antibs for my "infection" in my chest. NP. Will get flu shot in two weeks when it comes in,.

It seems all our western provinces are buried under a few feet of snow with very high winds and at least a hundred accidents. Where I am in Ontario by Lake Ontario we had a little rain earlier today but no snow for three days and what fell just mostly melted. No snow on the trees or fences, only where the plow has pushed it against the fences but it is very little. Northern Ontario and Quebec are having snow storms. I am glad I live where I do. *S

All of our days have been very cold but still no snow in sight. Lots of wind.
Mostly in the 26/28F area.

Today (Christmas) it’s not too cold, but yet it’s not balmy either.

High: 50
Low: low 40s.

No sunshine today, although it was sunny yesterday.

The west coast has had a serious blow (weather wise), over the past week or so: massive flooding and massive road disruptions caused by flooding and landslides. In the coming days, more hazardous weather is on the way.

It’s not the best news at all, but it’s better to prepare for incoming stormy weather and its natural fallout, than be caught in the fray with no plan at all.

It’s crazy cold here like it is in most of the country. We finally made it to the double digits. I got the mail a couple days ago when it was -2 and the cold stung my cheeks. Next time I’ll cover them up, too.

Was going to go out to buy some mayo, but changed my mind. Either I’ll order it online or will make some.

They say there will be one day for the week of no snow. 23F here right now. Sunshine all day so far with no windchill. Thats what really drops the temp. Comfortable enough for me.

It’s been a strange mix of weather here. It’s been very mild. Not much rain, but we get some rain— just not the usual types of relentless rain we used to get. For the next few days, it’s a mix of pearly skies with bouts of brilliant sunshine. Highs: 60 degrees. Lows: mid-40s.

Enough snow down where I am. Igloo is perfect for winter. Temp. is -0.4 and windchill factor is -16.6. Chilly enough with the wind for sure.
