I did some dishes and cleaned the kitchen. But I spent most of the day looking at accessible bathroom fixtures and shower curtains. I'm getting grab bars in my bathroom, and part of that is taking out the glass shower doors and getting a shower curtain instead.

How in the world does anyone pick out a shower curtain? I've always had doors, and I'm having a really hard time. For one thing, the curtain is so big it takes over the look of the whole room, and this is a small bathroom. For another, I will have to like it enough to look at it several times a day and not get sick of it. It's like choosing art. It could be fun, but really it's just stressing me out.

Today….

—chiropractic appt + hour long deep tissue massage

— laundry washed and dried and folded/hung up in closet

— vacuumed and dusted, took out the garbage

— went to the gym to sit in the jacuzzi

— getting ready to have dinner, then go for a walk in the neighborhood

— (watch for the beautiful pineapple and mango sherbet sunset against violet skies, at sundown tonight)

1) Went out to dinner last night with my pal from work. He treated us to Fish and chips at a neighborhood Pub. Oh my, three huge fish fillets…. With homemade tartar sauce, cabbage salad and to die for onion rings. Oh my, so delish!!

2) I got a new ‘love’ interest. Don’t worry. I’m going very sssllloooowwww.

Today I babied myself with rest and pampering: I fell the other day and nearly broke my hand/wrist (it’s got gnarly looking bruises but thankfully no broken or fractured bone). It felt good just to sleep and dream the morning away.

I made a list of things to make for “Friendsgiving” night: homemade crocheted ear warmers-head-bands, small slices of homemade goats milk soap bars scented with amber and cloves, and little tarts filled with pistachio banana cream pudding with whipped cream on top.

For Christmas I plan to not worship any cult figure (Santa, etc) and spread some fierce kind-hearted joy to friends and family. My home is decorated in Boho Christmas fashion so it’s always Christmas here. No Santa necessary. Just good old fashioned respectful kind and generous auras to enrich the season of holidays.

well yesterday, last day of the year...

First off, I kept saying, I must be well off, I dont have to work the rest of the year! Lol, I crack myself up..lol

Yesterday, I got 3 tattoos. Sounds really scandalous doesn’t it? I only wish! I got 3 little freckle size tattoos that will be used to line up for radiation treatment that will start in 10-14 days. I had scans done and the doc and the cancer board will go over for the best plan for me.

I did some after Christmas clearance shopping. Later I picked up Best Butch and we went to Downtown Tampa. We caught the electric trolley to Ybor (E-bor) City. Its a Cuban area, famous for cigar factories. We had margaritas and tacos. Walked around and took the trolley back and home before dark. No one wants to be out on the roads. Plus, we can't stay awake..lol

well yesterday...and at this very moment...I'm debt free! I paid off all my bills! I managed that by relying on the interest of my CD's. That money will roll back into new CD's. It took me awhile, cutting corners and giving things up, but I did I. What a relief, I can now say!!!

I'm setting myself up to collect my social security soon. Not necessarily retiring just yet. I still want to collection both Social security and my paycheck. Working keeps me active, thats for sure. I average about 10,000 steps on work days and ride 5 miles 4-5 times a week. I refuse to get stiff AND old...lol

Cleaned out my bedroom closet and dressers over the last few days and made a trip to my local women’s shelter with five small bags of clothes to donate.

Feels good letting go of those things.

I still need to go thru my fashion jewelry and some other things but I’ve done enough for today.
