For me is not a happy day. My brother called and told me our aunt had died. A wonderful woman and the last of the sibling family of 7. So now with my moms family of 4 siblings all passed that is the end of both my parents direct family except their children or our cousins. I stayed with this lovely aunt when I went home to bury my sister as they were very close. We never know when we will see a loved one for the last time.

I thought I was to have a quiet Xmas. To my surprise my brother shows up. Then the little once shows up unexpected with family in tow. It made my Xmas more joyful than I could ever expect. My brother stayed over night and he just left so I am emailing and smiling. Out of the clear blue, four people made my Xmas a very happy one. The family brought KFC to eat and gifts for all. The little one made a special tree decoration in school and a card both for me *S. I could not have had a better day or a happier one.

Our weather is something else. We are lined up for the next four days at 68F then 47F the fifth day and then lower days after that. Rain for 4 nights but none in the daytime. Very oddball.

Canada always has jumpy weather according to where you live. I am near Toronto so I am also almost sitting on Lake Ontario so there are a lot of changes. Up northern Canada they still get snow. In Quebec they could get heavy storms with rain and winds. Here, we guess lol.

I was remembering an interview many years ago that was with Janis Joplin. She told of her thinking how many women are like mules when it comes to looking for love. The cart driver puts an apple on a long pole and holds it out in front of the mule so that the mule is constantly chasing after that lucious apple without the chance of ever tasting it. I could not agree with her more.
