Attending an open day for all sorts of things in St.John's square. I finally got a chance to have a go on a unicycle - I have the bruised shins to prove it. I also picked up the contact information for a local circus skills group I can attend that will help me learn to ride a uni and walk a tight rope, something I've always wanted to do.

A Sunday roast dinner with my best friend Tinkerbell and her 4 boys.

These are the things that brought me joy today.

Having brunch with a beautiful lady and my brother. Playing on the riding lawn mower and getting dirty. Having dinner with some friends and laughing. Seeing my nephew trying to mack on an older woman but he totally has no game like his uncle.

I found the fossilized tooth of Hyracotherium, as well as several bone fragments, at a friend's house this evening. This was the earliest animal to bear recognizably horse-like anatomy, and it lived in the early Eocene period, about 52 million years ago. I have permission to return with a shovel whenever I like, and this gives me much joy.
