Remember the show, The Pretender?

So I was watching the television series, The Pretender thanks to Netflix. Every week Jarod would read some books, study an occupation and then go and be that profession.

What if it were that easy in real life? You could upload data like in the Matrix or read and study like Jarod and then change profession on a whim. What would you be?

Last week I wanted to be an architect. This week I'd be a cardiovascular surgeon. What would you be?

i never liked this show...i liked the profiler...it was on right after the pretender

when I worked 3rd shift this show came on every day at like 5 am.

I watched whole seasons of it.

I would try everything I could think of at least once. I'm indecisive that way. Or greedy.

This week, I'd be a mover, to help make sure I pack everything the best possible way. Next week, I'd be a professional race car driver, so I could get down to Austin super fast.

I loved that show. I can't bear to part with the Season 4 dvd set that has the episode where Broots dances in his boxers to P-Funk for Miss Parker.

I might like to subject someone to that some time... probably have to have a couple beers first.

I want to assume an identity where I get to drive a Porsche, like a doctor ("Are you a doctor?" "I am today.")

I LOVED that show, I actually have a season or 2 on DVD thanks to a dear friend.

If I could download any skill and just become it magically, I think I would be a professor of astrophysics, neurology or biology.
