If she's got mites don't use the stuff from the vet to clear them up. I've always used Vitamin E Oil. Clean her ears with it REAL WELL for a few days and it'll clear them up. The oil suffocates the mites and is non-toxic for your cat.

Okay, I have one. I'm not saying it does not work but ....

This weekend there was a minor accident and we needed to purchase a bottle of benadine solution. We left the dinner party and went to the drug store and purchased an 8 oz. bottle of this magical healing elexir. I was bowled over when I realized it was $17. When did povidone-iodine get so expensive?

Ok...this is where the original "rocking" shoe came from. I don't know how any of the cheaper versions by reebok, sketchers, curves, etc..work, but MBTs are really good! (expensive though) A friend told me to get them for work to help my feet and back...and they DO work!

One caution....don't buy a pair of these shoes (from wherever) and think you can wear them all day right away...you'll give yourself shin splints if you wear them for a prolonged period of time before allowing your body to get used to the balance shift....just an FYI.

Discounted Ikea furniture. I bought a bunk bed, flat packed on sale (very cheap) from Ikea. Everything was so off that after 2 days- the use of a drill, a circular saw, 10 varieties of bolts and wood glue- to put it together, I still ended up with something that looked like playground equipment. The child asked if she could have a pool at the end of the bed – so she could just slide into it in the mornings.

I attempted to join an Ikea’s Anonymous support group but the door handle fell off when I tried to enter the room to the meeting.

Sometimes you just can't beat the originals.
I know betenoire's in the market for some. And, uh, I think Ezee really wants a pair, too, but has his heart set on the Skechers

Thanks for the post, Grey. I've noticed that the prices on smaller items have skyrocketed. I can barely get out of CVS with over-the-counter meds, body wash, deodorant, etc. for less than $50 these days.
