Today would have been my oldest child, Melody Claire's 30th birthday.

I was in labor this same time, 30 years ago....she was killed in a car accident on Sept. 27th, 1996, 4 weeks to the day following her 16th birthday. So really, this whole next month is understandably difficult.

I ask that You light a candle for her sister (my youngest child), Erin Parker and me. We have a rough time of it.....

Last night, I was watching the Emmy's....and Jewel sang this song for those actors who'd passed this last year. I thought I would share it with You....There's a Hole In My Heart In The Shape Of You.....this is exactly how I feel....
