Okay. That's what I thought, but like I said, I never followed Kirk's history much. But I didn't think that was how he had died. And Yes the Uhura relationship was fascinating. I actually liked Kirk in this one a little.

And why did they cut a part for him from the new movie but keep Spock in? Is it because Spock is Teh Awesome and William Shitner is not? Hmmmmmmmmm.!
