Today is the first time i've really worked out in over a year. Stretches, situps, crunches and a 1 mile walk. Well, it is a beginning at least. Headin in for a bubblebath cause I know tomorrow I am gonna be one sore little girl.

But I am proud!!!! It is at least a good start. Thanks for the thread and thoughts of encouragement!!!!!

Note to self - Eat a couple of hours before workout....not 14 HOURS before the workout. No wonder I didn't have any energy last week. I was forgetting to eat. Ate about 45 mins before workout, some fruit and a protein beverage. Felt much better through the workout.

I hazzz muscle. You have to poke really hard to feel it through the fat, but it's there.

OH lord,im so sore from working out really hard the last fue days,I feel everything that moves.My core is so touchy I cant take a deep breath without feeling it,why do I put myself thrue this..other than to lose weight..to sleep allll night rather than go to bed at 10 then wakeup at 3am then cant go back to sleep.Its been this way for over a week..a full nights sleep would be really nice,maybe I can get two in a row..pls.

Default Rotator Cuff Injury

This happens it could be weeks before you regain motion in the delt area.
The rotator in my left shoulder is injured so...

I treat it with 800 miligrams of ibuprofen
Ice with arm elevated
And a tennis ball.

Hold a tennis ball against the wall and lean into it with the shoulder area that's painful. Hold it there for 90 seconds.

I'm so excited!! I put my "beater bike" together (this bike I've had since 1998 and I've put about 35,000km on it in its lifetime). Now I just need to find my helmet and at least one of my bike panniers. Then I should be able to bike to work next week. I was thinking that I might need to get an overhaul on it but it seems to be in decent shape.

i tore mine in half during my car accident. omg i'd rather break my femur again. rotator cuff injuries are nasty

I may or may not have done that a few times (haha)...You learn rather quickly especially when you bottom out!

Organic and I started back working out today. Both os us pushed ourselves just a tad more than we should have but I think we're going to like this new place just fine.

I just finished three one hour yoga classes in a 24 hour period and I'm kind of ouchie.

I signed up for the Body Fit Challenge at my gym. It starts October 9th. I'm kind of scared because I'm pretty sure they're going to hand me my ass. And then laugh.

ALSO I'm signed up for a 5k October 9th AND a 5k trail run/obstacle course/mud run on Halloween.
