Death Penalty for Gays in Uganda...we need to pay attention

Wow thank you for posting this. I'm sitting here in my comfortable, safe home and reading this makes me literally cry inside and out. I am quick to complain about how living in the Southern United States has caused many of "us" that are here to live in fear and isolation...but, god almighty...I am humbled by what you wrote and consider myself VERY lucky and furtunate. It will certainly make me think twice about complaining again.

How can we help. Who do you write to? Where do we send a couple extra bucks to help our brothers and sisters over there and elsewhere?

Much prayer, lighted candles and peace sent to those who have to fight so much harder in life to be who they are.

Again, I am humbled to read this. It is so much easier to not hear it...but we can't be free in this world until "we" are ALL treated with respect and dignity and honor...no matter how far away "the rest of the world" seems to be.
