Hey guys!
Another stogie smoker, albeit, an occasional smoker. Now that the weather has turned cooler I'm smoking less. At least, when I'm in the apartment. My sister doesn't like smoke in the living room - so off to the balcony for me. a few I like: Cuesta Rey, Uppmann, Thomas Hinds. A friend of mine had some nice mild ones - imported from the Phillipines. There are more but I'll have to check my notebook. ![]() |

![]() Nice thing about Canada: Cuban cigars. Bad thing about Canada: super high tax on said cigars. :P

Good thing about Canada: smoke shops on reserves.
Give me some names and I can check and see if any shops on the rez has anything you'd like. |

Wryly,
It is good to see you here! Welcome! ![]() I am hoping that Cuba opens up, and becomes the next Vegas. Can you imagine what all of our humidors will look like then?! WooHoo! ![]() I sent Linus to a website called Nine West (I think that was it) for smoking jackets, and robes. Plus they sell club shirts to match the robes and jackets. Just a neat shop. Check it out. |

The website is Nine Deep not Nine West. See my memory is still shot.

Andrew
I live in Canada so, when I can afford it, my humidor looks pretty good! Some of my friends were in Cuba recently - lucky dogs! Although - they're not really into cigars. *sigh* I'll check out the site - maybe treat myself! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Several months ago I quit the ciggy habit cold thurkey, but sometimes I want a smoke so bad I could spit.SO I been thinking about mayby cigars may work better than ciggys but I have no idea wich to get.I tryed cigars before but what I bought was awfull to say the least..I figured a cigar would last longer than a ciggy.Since I quit I have put on 18 pounds and I hate it,corse its been winter and i'v not been as active as I had been.I dont like anything strong but not wish washy either...any ideas guys?

You are like me then. I like a mild to medium cigar. The best advice I can give to you is to go to Famous Smoke Shop.com and look online at what they have. Then go to a cigar shop close to home. See and compare what the guys in the store say vs. what you have seen online.
I really enjoy Baccaratt, Macanudo, Flor de Oliva, Nub, EO, Siglo, Oliva, Primo del Ray just thinking off the top of my head. I think you will really enjoy these too. Some others are Creme de Jamaica, Aston's (any), Helix, Upmann, Avo Tubos #9, Leon Jimenes, and Arturo Fuente. Just smoke a couple at a time, see what you enjoy. Keep us posted on what you select, and how it tastes. ![]() |

Thanks for the heads up on cigars.Since I quit the ciggys, wich was cause they got way over priced and begain to taste awful. The weight gain and the frayed nerves ...sometimes I just need a long relaxing drag off something to chill cause I get the hebejebies fidgits with lead me to the fridge. So im hopeing to find a middle ground with that.At least the weather is spring like and near 70 so I now can go back to working out, wich will help.
