So life has been busy with work.. making Myself available as much as I can to My girl while she has been ill... making plans to go there and help her once she is home from the hospital..

Fresh pot of coffee is on, and putting out a healthy breakfast of granola and fruit for everyone. I had a Doctor appointment day before yesterday, and some reminders to get back on the program and mind my diet. Had an EKG and chest x-ray too (just checking since there's lots of heart problems in my family). All came back good though...so now it's just the bloodwork, pap and mammogram to go (ugh).

Sounds like the perfect breakfast to Me! This morning for breakfast, I actually had a couple of small yogurts from Yoplait's Dessert Selections ~ one was Strawberry Chantilly and the other one was Raspberry Cranberry Crumble (both of which are beyond divine). Too bad I didn't have some actual granola here or I would have mixed some in, might have to buy some today or tomorrow for next time

I just had bloodwork done last Friday because tomorrow I go back to see My doctor for a complete physical, and if all goes well then tomorrow is the day that I may begin taking testosterone injections

I'm at an Avon conference this morning and holy smokes batman, the crowd in the ladies room is worse than Pride, lol. After the conference I am going to be hitting the books and studying like a mad hatter.

Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you all slept well! My old roommate and I watched the 2009 Star Trek movie on his new 3D tv and it was awesome. No matter what we watched, it just made the picture come alive. Law & Order SVU looked like we were sitting there with them.

I am thinking of French Toast, fresh fruit, bacon/sausage, plenty of coffee, tea and sodas for breakfast this morning.

I'm having to arm wrestle for computer time...I'll sure be glad when we're in the house, our stuff is unpacked, and the Rooster has his own computer again! At least we're in the closing process now....home stretch!

Went to make another payment on the boys' bedroom furniture today, had lunch at Cracker Barrel, and Rooster picked up one of those Paper Jamz guitar things from the shop there. It's bizarre how real it sounds.

Scoote's at work, but we're hoping to manage a little beach time this evening...if only my body will calm down. Being diabetic stinks!

Hope you get to feeling better soon. I had a blast hanging out with my old roommate yesterday and I cannot wait to move back to Orlando. I am going to the college tomorrow and see what it will take for me to get my CNA license and get hands on training that away. I will be in Orlando this coming weekend for Pride and to hang out wtih friends. Hope you all can make it Sunday and if not, we will have to plan a Christmas party somewhere..

Good Morning Zimmy,

I am glad the studying is going well. That was actually My favorite part of going to college... and the homework. The in class note taking and all of that was not as much, even though I love to learn. However, I think it was the organization and orderliness of the studying and homework that I liked.

Yes, like I said.. there are some Avon queens out there that will do whatever they need to get a book to you..laughs.. I love throwing it up the driveway thing.. like someone delivering the newspaper.

My girl is pushing herself and getting through the best she can. As I mentioned to scoote it is has been a rough couple of weeks.. however, she is strong of the mind and will persevere. I know she is just looking forward to getting home and having her pets around her again. As she said.. it is the simple things you miss .. when you are not in control of your life, so to speak.

Can I just say I am loving the morning java and the Fall weather? I have even been craving a cup of joe in the evenings, which is not normal for Me. I am thinking it is just the cooler weather.

Hope everyone is well.. that scoote and Jo are getting their signatures on that paperwork, Zimmy is studying hard (but not too hard), morningstar is staying safe on the road and working on those cool paintings, that Matthew is feeling better after seeing that "mean" dentist ..grins, and dc is shussshing people in the library.
