This weekend, I am especially grateful for/to:
1) My parents for giving me a ride both to and from Portland 2) Candace & Kassi for giving me a place to stay Friday night 3) June & Kat for giving me a place to stay Saturday night 4) Sarah for planning a kick-ass butch-femme social Saturday evening and for taking me with her to explore and exercise on Mt. Tabor this morning It was a good weekend and it wouldn't have been half as wonderful if these friends and family members had not extended their kindness towards me. I am blessed!

~I am grateful that my cough is FINALLY on its way out!!! (I've been sick since the Monday, Oct. 12th!!!! )

Today I am grateful for...
The NHS (the free health care system here in the UK). It's not perfect but when I hear some of the horror stories about what goes on in other countries, the US included, it makes me realize how lucky we actually are. |
